By now, you’ve probably heard about the ridiculously cool perks some of the top tech companies offer their employees — concierge service, spa treatments, tuition reimbursement, the list goes on and on. And while you might think those perks would keep employees at those companies for longer spans of their careers, a LinkedIn study found that tech is one of three industries with the highest employee turnover.

So, what’s the average employment time at some of these big tech companies? According to Business Insider, most don’t even crack the three-year mark.

Uber rounds out the bottom of the list, averaging 1.8 years for employee tenure despite offering free meals and snacks, unlimited paid time off, gym memberships and, of course, discounts for those coveted Uber and UberEats services. While Tesla offers relocation packages, travel stipends and stock options, the company averages an employee tenure of just 2.1 years.

Facebook fares a little better with 2.5 years, along with a slew of perks including concierge services, on-site dietitians and doctors, free shuttle services to HQ and complimentary meals. The top performing tech company? Apple, whose employees stick around for an average of 5 solid years, also offers kickass perks like private concerts with A-list artists, discounted products, the AppleCare college program and even on-site masseuses and doctors.

Well, tech companies, maybe perks aren’t everything when it comes to employee satisfaction. But hey, don’t lighten up on free lunches — those are always welcome. 😉
