This Hostel Will Pay You To Blog About A Year-Long Adventure In Southeast Asia

@madmonkeyhostels

Southeast Asia is yours for 12 months, for the low low price of writing about your fabulous adventures.

Mad Monkey Hostels is searching for a Blogger in Residence to create content for the company’s travel blog. It needs a talented traveler to spend a year exploring Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, the Philippines and Indonesia – and it will pay the writer/explorer to document his or her trip.

Tempted? You have to be thrifty because the pay is a little under $1000 per month. But Southeast Asia is the place to make that kind of money stretch.

The company is looking for a seasoned long-term traveler (someone who has been on the road for more than six months or lived abroad) and a social media whiz.

You’d be writing about 4,500 words per week and running the hostel company’s social media accounts. That’s less than an article a day, with a couple hours of Instagramming and responding to reviews about the hostel company. The rest of your time can be spent on the beach or hiking to ancient temples.

As an added perk, your accommodation is completely free in certain cities. If you want to hit Bangkok, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Kampot, Koh Rong Samloem or Boracay, you can stay in the Mad Monkey hostels.

Sounds like a dream gig to us!
