You Can Buy Harry Potter’s Childhood Home Right Now

@staceyfenton

Harry Potter fans, how stoked were you when you were able to see the home where Harry Potter was born in “The Deadly Hallows”? If you loved seeing the quaint house on screen, you’re gonna love this: the real-life residence is for sale. Yes, you can live in Godric’s Hollow (well, it’s really in Suffolk, England).

Travel + Leisure reports that the home is on the market with a price tag of £995,000 (or $1,291,480). We know, super casual. You can live like a wizard and prance around town with your wand all you want, but that’s not the only reason why this house is special.

The home, which is formally named the De Vere House, has a rich history in which families of unimaginable wealth and even King Henry VII made appearances.

You’re not just paying for the fame, though. The residence is gorgeous and comes equipped with six bedrooms, a reception hall, a drawing room, a kitchen and a dining room. There is also a large backyard with a garden and an alfresco dining terrace. Oh, and there’s a cute brick path you can follow to the property’s chickens. Yass, fresh eggs in the morning.
