Google announced exciting updates to its search experience. In fact, users will get an experience so personalized that it’ll feel very much like a social media platform. Expect a lot of cool interactivity and a bigger focus on visual content.

The Deets: The improvements include a Stories feature, which acts similarly to Insta’s, though it’s only available for searches on notable people and celebrity chefs like Giada De Laurentis. Also, Google Feed is being renamed Discover, which acts similarly to Facebook’s News Feed experience by using an algorithm to give users content that interests them most.

The Bottom Line: Imagine your favorite aspects of social media neatly packaged into one product that you’re already comfortable using, and you get Google’s newest updates. These features, as well as a handful of other changes Google’s rolling out, will be available later this year. We couldn’t be more excited. [Swirled]

Recipe Of The Day: Indulge a little this week by making comforting cacio e pepe. Boil 8 ounces of dried spaghetti in salted water until it’s the consistency you like. Then, combine 4 ounces of grated Pecorino cheese and lots of pepper (to your taste) in a bowl. Add a tablespoon of cold water to the cheese and mix it until it becomes a paste. Toss the pasta in the cheese mixture and enjoy! [Smitten Kitchen]
