5 Delicious Ways To Elevate Your Brownie Game

@homewithatwist

Got brownies on the brain? Same. If you have a brownie mix, making the dessert can be totally easy. Trust us when we say we love a warm, gooey brownie, but you can transform simple brownie mix to make something even better. These five hacks will up your brownie game in ways you didn’t even think were possible.

1. Make Oreo brownie bars.

Grab a pack of Oreos and make your brownie mix. Pour the mix into your pan, and then cover the mix with Oreos. Bake as normal. You just upgraded your brownies to a Cookie Monster heaven.

2. Add a caramel surprise.

Pick up a pack of Rolo caramel candies or any other caramels. Pour half the batter into your pan, top with caramels, making sure to leave space between them, then pour the rest of the mix on top. Bake and let cool. Cut evenly to make sure each square has a bit of caramel in the middle.

3. Get fruity.

Add a jar of strawberry or raspberry preserves to your prepared mix, then bake as normal. If you want to amp up the flavor, mix whole strawberries or raspberries into your mix, bake, then top with more berries while the brownies are still warm. They’ll taste like chocolate-berry perfection.

4.  Get s’more.

You already have the brownie base — all you need to do is mix in some mini marshmallows and chocolate chunks, bake as usual, then top with more marshmallows, chocolate chunks and crushed graham crackers, and broil for a few minutes. You’ve got yourself a massive s’mores.

5. Booze it up.

Make your brownie mix as usual, but feel free to add 1/4 cup Bailey’s to your mix. Of course, the alcohol will cook out. However, we’re not opposed to turning the dessert into a poke brownie by poking small holes in the baked mix and pouring Bailey’s on top. 🤷‍♀️ Want to make your brownies even more ridiculous? Make a Bailey’s whipped cream by mixing 2 cups of whipping cream, 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup Bailey’s together until the whole thing looks like cool whip. Top the cooled brownies with the Bailey’s topping and enjoy responsibly.
