Here Are The Craziest Roller Coasters In The World

Logs of Fun

If you’re a true thrill seeker, you’ve probably ridden a crazy scary roller coaster at your favorite theme park. Now, it’s time to take your courage to the next level. These international roller coasters are some of the most insane in the world. They’re guaranteed to shake you up, unless nothing scares you, in which case we’d like to see video evidence of you trying every single one of these ridiculous rides.

1. Gravity Max — Lihpao Land Discovery World, Taiwan

This coaster tilts and drops so many times, you’ll wonder where your stomach went. The ride crawls up a 114 foot lift before plunging down into a tunnel full of twists and an upside-down loop. It then finally drops you again from 34 stories high.

2. Kingda Ka — Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey

Standing proud at 456 feet tall with a 416-foot drop just after the initial climb, Kingda Ka is one of the few strata coasters in the world that drops over 400 feet. This one is sure to give you a scare.

3. Full Throttle — Six Flags Magic Mountain, California

Six Flags’ Full Throttle roller coaster currently holds the record for having the tallest vertical loop at 160 feet high. You reach 65 miles per hour in less than five seconds and then you go right into that loop. Hope you didn’t eat beforehand.

4. Sky Scream — Holiday Park, Germany

This coaster may be one of the loopiest coasters in the world. From the start you swing front, then back until you go up the vertical twist, go down the vertical twist and then do a few horizontal twists. If you’re a loop person, you’ll love this ride.

5. Formula Rossa — Ferrari World, UAE

Currently holding the title of fastest roller coaster in the world, Formula Rossa is one of the most extreme rides out there. You fly through the air at up to 149 miles per hour. What’s even scarier: there’s nothing holding you back from falling out other than a lap-restraint. Yikes!
