Jamie Oliver Created A Fully Decked-Out Kitchen On Wheels

Cooking in the comfort of your own kitchen is certainly ideal, but when you want to cook from the road, your options are usually pretty limited. That’s why British celebrity chef and TV personality Jamie Oliver collaborated with Jaguar Land Rover to create the ultimate, decked-out kitchen on four wheels.

The custom car features a slow-cooker, barbecue, ice cream maker, olive oil dispenser, rotisserie that mounts onto the front of the car and center console with a two-slice toaster. If that’s not enough, three of the car’s wheels churn butter — a little over a gallon each.

“I gave Land Rover a massive challenge to create the ultimate kitchen on wheels… I didn’t think they’d actually be able to put a slow-cooker next to the engine and an olive oil dispenser in the boot, but they did,” said Oliver.

Everything in the car is truly functional. The car has gas, running water and a living wall where plants can grow. Oliver’s vehicle is a seven-seat off-road SUV, which means it’s perfect for group road trips when you want to explore nature without compromising the quality of your meals.

The rotisserie that attaches to the front of the car can roast up to three chickens, one turkey and a whole leg of lamb. Right next to the engine is a slow cooker for any stews or soups that you want to make. When you’re road tripping, you can forage for all of the herbs and vegetables and put them right into your car’s slow cooker. And sliding out from the back of the car is a kitchen worktop that folds out with two gas burners and a sink, which can double as a dining table.

There are pretty much no limits when it comes to cooking with Oliver’s custom car. Fresh pasta from the road? Yup. A fully cooked chicken under the stars? Hell yeah. Sounds like the perfect vehicle for someone who centers a vacation around food.
