These restaurants are travelers’ favorite fancy spots on the planet.

TripAdvisor determined the most popular restaurants around the world using reviews from the past year. The list is based on the quantity and quality of reviews left by travelers who sampled the cuisine. Here’s how they stacked up.

1. The Black Swan at Oldstead – Oldstead, England

Much of the Michelin-starred food at The Black Swan comes from produce grown in the restaurant’s 3-acre garden.

2. Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons – Great Milton, England

The food has earned two Michelin stars, and open fireplaces and English gardens await visitors at the manor hotel’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.

3. Maison Lameloise – Chagny, France

Plates here are seasonal creations (three Michelin stars!), paired with traditional Burgandy wines.

4. L’Auberge de l’Ill – Illhaeusern, France

The Alsatian Inn restaurant has three Michelin stars and is famous for the chef’s mousseline of frog legs.

5. Martin Berasategui – Lasarte, Spain

With three Michelin stars, the villa-like restaurant has creative tasting menus and a la carte dishes to sample as much cuisine as you can.

6. Daniel – New York CityNew York

The Upper East Side classic has two Michelin stars and is renown for Manhattan elegance.
