This Floating Hotel Offers The Best View Of The Northern Lights

@tdunks86

Most people want to see the Northern Lights at least once in their lives. The natural phenomenon is unlike anything else on Earth. There are plenty of ways to see them, starting with getting a plane ticket to the north, but this hotel offers possibly the best view ever. If you’re dying to see the Northern Lights in all their glory, you should stay here.

The Arctic Bath Hotel, which is located just south of the arctic circle in Swedish Lapland, floats on the Luleriver, one of Sweden’s major rivers. It bobs in the river during summer, and in the winter it freezes solid into the water.

You can take advantage of water sport activities during both the summer and winter, experience an authentic ice bath (they’re popular in Sweden) or — obviously — look up into the sky to catch the Northern Lights.

Because the hotel is so close to the Arctic Circle, you’re guaranteed an up-close-and-personal view of the Lights, making for one hell of an Instagram photo. This hotel is a place we’d love to sit outside in the wintertime and watch the wonders of the sky unfold.

If you have Sweden or the Northern Lights on your bucket list, this hotel is for you. Talk about a sight for sore eyes.
